Biography
Emani is a Neo-Soul and R&B artist originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, bringing her soulful sound and creative vision to Houston and beyond. Emani began singing as a personal passion before developing her voice into an independent music career rooted in authenticity and connection.
Inspired by artists including Alicia Keys, Erykah Badu, and Jill Scott, she blends soulful storytelling with warm vocals, layered harmonies, and modern R&B influences. Her nine-song project, Auntie Energy, explores healing, identity, love, confidence, and emotional growth.
Through the music, live performances, beauty, fashion, and creative storytelling — plus EMANIMERCH ready to ship — Emani is building a community where healing and harmonies come together.
Artist philosophy
Emani writes from the position of the woman who has already done the work: the one who tells the truth kindly, holds space for other women, and refuses to shrink. The music is unhurried on purpose — space in the arrangement is space for the listener.
